ACADEMICS

Alpha Delta Pi encourages its members to perform at their highest ability in the classroom. All sisters are required to maintain a GPA of 2.6, our chapter's current average GPA is 3.61. Each semester we have sisters on the Dean's List and some maintain a 4.0 for their entire academic career.

Each week at chapter, we recognize sisters with '"Smarty Pi" awards that acknowledge the hard work they are putting into their classes and extracurricular activities. We also hold an annual scholarship tea to recognize the scholarship among our chapter as a whole as well as hear from powerful women who work at the University. 

​

Sisters also turn to each other for tutoring and study groups. You can almost always find a group of ADPi's working together in one of the libraries, typically Clem 2!

Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University.  It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs.  The University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization's contracts, acts or omissions.
