SOCIAL EVENTS

Throughout the year, Alpha Delta Pi hosts a number of date functions, formals, and other social events.

​

In the fall, we host our annual Mallard Ball, a century-old tradition for ADPi chapters across the country. Sisters and their dates dress in their finest hunting-themed and camouflage apparel and head off to a venue in rural Virginia. It is an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and s'mores!

In the spring, we have our annual Semi Formal along with several themed date functions like Masquerade, Mardi Gras, AdProm, My Tie, and more! Sisters love inviting their friends, dressing up to theme, and spending the night making unforgettable memories. These events are especially fun as we welcome our new Alpha Class!

At our formals, sisters and their dates dress their best and travel to one of the beautiful venues around Charlottesville. This year's Parent's Formal was held at The Kimpton Hotel and Semi-Formal was held at The Jefferson Theater. After delicious dinners, everyone was welcome to dance the night away!

Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University.  It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs.  The University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization's contracts, acts or omissions.
